Hakim Abdelaoui KO

Savate rules are good when you create new fighter. But there is a trick when your fighter becomes good combat competitor. In this video you see Hakim Abdelaoui starting counter attack just after his opponent brilliant fouette (round kick). I don't know why Hakim didn't prepare himself to block opponents kick, but on the other hand he tried to move inside and wanted to control striking leg from the outside without protection of his head. He stepped in the dangerous zone of shinbone, where it was impossible for his opponent to control or to stop the kick (fouette). Result was - perfect hit - like crashing down an airplane with very fast missile.
But who is guilty in this case? Judges couldn't do anything, attacker was on the right distance with perfect fouette kick starting before counter attack of Hakim, and Hakim was the only victim of savate rules (not kick with shinbone). Maybe he expected like in many cases before that he can come through with his counter attack and the attacker's leg will stop. But in this case the attacker was or smarter or he just couldn't stop his kick.
Conclusion: WE Savateurs should be very carefull in situations like this because our rules are adopted to better and cleaner fighting with right distance like in english boxing, but when we start to speculate with counter attacks we can easily get KO with shin kicks or knees. So the only cure is to start with additional discipline called CHAUSS FIGHT in which we will learn also the other part of fighting outside clean savate rules.
