AIBA - English boxing again on Francophone Games 2009 in Libanon

AIBA (the International Boxing Association) has the great pleasure to announce that the AIBA Vice President and Africa Confederation President Dr. Abdellah Bessalem (ALG) has been appointed as the Technical Delegate for the 2009 Francophone Games, which are due to be held in Beirut, Lebanon from September 27-October 6.

The Francophone Games, which are a combination of artistic and sporting events, have been held every four years since 1989 for the participation of French speaking nations. Boxing, with all 11 weight categories, will be one of six sports and 14 events in total at the Games.
